We have a problem.
It seems that the Compilation pages were in the old database, and not in the Controlled Dissonance database along with all the other release pages. What this means is that, when I killed the old database, all those pages went with it. Of course I didn’t back the database up before I killed it. Why would I do such a thing?
Good news: I still have all the audio and, using the tracklistings, I should be able to recreate most of the pages.
Bad news: Some of the compilations, like Collusion, had some detailed information that I can’t recreate from memory.
*sigh*
Ha!
Getting ready for work this morning and, on a whim, decided to check and see if I had any local copies of a database backup for the old site. As it happens, I apparently backed up the database this time last year, when my host provider was being bitchy about disk usage. I opened it and, lo and behold, buried in the 11MB text file is all the information I need to recreate the compilation pages.
Fortunately the site was dormant for most of the last year, so there’s not much missing. Those compilation release pages were my biggest concern, and I should have that covered now.
Off to work with me!
Do you still have the circuit bending notes? Just this week I went to find the picture of the Behringer Tremolo and came up with a bad link. I’d love to see those again.
I’ll see what I can find. No guarantees, but if I find anything, I’ll post about it here on the blog.
The good news is that I found a backup of the original BentPedals.com website, which should have all the content that would have been in the old IM.net circuit bending section. I’ll try to get that content posted in it’s entirety over the next few weeks, but in the meantime, here’s a temporary link to the Behringer tremolo schematic:
